Bob Shropshire

Bob brings experience that is both deep and wide to the job. His client experience covers a broad spectrum: agricultural products, automotive, beer, charity, chocolate, computers, confectionery, delivery services, drugs, eggs, financial, food, gasoline, gum, healthcare, hotels, information technology, juice, ketchup, mutual funds, packaged goods, pet food, retail, soft drinks, soup, tobacco, travel, video games, vitamins and (bottled) water. The list of clients that Bob has worked with reads like a who's who in Canadian marketing. Bob started his career in media with O&M in the eighties. After a meteoric rise to Associate Media Director, he decided to move into client service, strategic development, then to management. His agency background covers everything from huge multinationals like O&M, Leo Burnett and Dentsu to mid-sized agencies like Ammirati & Puris. He now has his own independent agency, Heroes & Villains. He is one of the few Canadian advertising executives to hold a leadership position in two countries (Canada and Australia) at the same time. The campaigns he's worked on have garnered international acknowledgment and acclaim. A staunch believer in the power of branding and insightful, impactful creative ideas, Bob is always up for the challenge of finding the needle in the haystack that will change the fortunes of a brand or company. It's never an easy task, but it's always a rewarding one.
