Jessica Haynes

Dr. Jessica Haynes is a graduate of Southern College of Optometry. After earning her doctorate of optometry, she completed a primary care residency at the Memphis VA Medical Center followed by a two-year optometric retina fellowship at Charles Retina Institute in Germantown, TN. She currently practices as consulting faculty in the Southern College of Optometry Advanced Care Ocular Disease clinic and a full-time associate optometrist at Charles Retina Institute. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry and the Optometric Retina Society and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. She is President of the West Tennessee Optometric Physicians Society, Treasurer of the Retina Special Interest Group of the AAO, and a member of the admittance committee of the AAO. She is on the editorial review board for Review of Optometry. She has authored numerous publications and spoken at various continuing education events, primarily on the topic of posterior segment disease. She is also a sub-investigator for various pharmaceutical clinical trials focusing on treatment of posterior segment disease.
