Nupura Bakshi

MD, FRCSC

Dr. Nupura Bakshi received her MD (with honours) from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. She went on to complete her Ophthalmology Residency at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto and then completed a Fellowship in Uveitis and Medical Retina at the National Eye Institute in Maryland. Currently she is Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Toronto's Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences, Medical Staff at St. Michael's Department of Ophthalmology and Medical Staff at the Kensington Eye Institute. She has earned many honours and awards including the Kensington Eye Institute Award for Excellence in Surgery � Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Toronto, Dr. Michael Shea Award for Outstanding Contribution as Senior Resident � Department of Ophthalmology at St. Michael's Hospital and the Wilkinson Scholarship in Ophthalmology � Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Bakshi is extensively involved in research and clinical trails both as a primary investigator and an associate investigator. She has also published numerous journal articles, book chapters and abstracts.
