I Graduated in South Africa in 1981. I attained Doctor of optometry from Illinois school of Optometry in 1989. Worked at Johannesburg General Hospital and St John’s Eye Clinic in Baragwaneth Hospital in Soweto.
I have been in private practice in South Africa, London – England and in Toronto. Speaker for Vistakon, Cibavision, Bausch and Lomb, Alcon and Nikon on contact lens products, spectacle lenses and materials.
Clinical Researcher 1999 - 2005
I participated in study that compared performance of 2 daily-wear contact lenses as well as the performance of 2 extended-wear contact lenses, a study to investigate the performance of a Toric Hydrogel-Silicone lens and also the performance of a contact lens with dry eye patients. I participated in a study that looked at the performance of two contact lens disinfecting solutions.
