This course will provide an overview of the world-wide condition of pediatric eye care. Learners will be made aware of opportunities to better meet the needs of the pediatric community, understand the visual challenges experienced by the young and better comprehend the selling process as it relates to pediatric patients, their parents and product recommendations.The fashion and function needs of pediatric frame selection and fitting will also be highlighted.

This course will present an overview of how telephone triage and walk-in office visits should be handled. Key elements of triaging and the difference between an emergency and urgent care will be reviewed. Suggestions for setting up protocols will also be discussed.
