A Teacher at Heart
From a family of Opticians and Optometrists, Mr. Ali Khan (CEO and founder of AOE) graduated in the first cohort of the Optician course at Ryerson University and was hired by Ryerson to upgrade and re-write the optician courses to higher standards. For over 50 years, he has dedicated his life to the elevation of education for all eye health learners. For years, Mr. Khan and the AOE team have been fundraising and creating innovative ways to bring high caliber education to students at no charge.

FREE Access to Our Video On-Demand Lecture Library
AOE offers complimentary access to our hundreds of hours of optometry and opticianry courses. Access can be arranged through your school of optometry in Canada/USA or your school of opticianry in Canada. Have them contact us at info@aoece.com.
FREE Access to Interactive Webinars
Why not spend a Sunday with us and take on a topic like the pros! Students are eligible for complimentary access to our monthly themed webinars. Pick a webinar where you like the topic and email us at info@aoece.com to register.
FREE Access to Our Trade Shows

FREE Events at Your School
Can't visit us? We'll come to you. Every year, AOE arranges world renowned speakers to come and lecture at your school. Interested in having us come to your school, email us at info@aoece.com.
Fundraising and Financial Support
In addition to scholarship at Seneca College, AOE hosts a live interactive webinars where the proceeds go to assist students with the financial challenges. If you would like us to do this for your school of optometry or opticianry, reach out to us at info@aoece.com
Graduates Enjoy 1 Year FREE of On-Demand
Getting started is hard, especially with student debt. We try to lessen that load a bit by offering a free year's subscription to AOE On-Demand to eligible graduates. Lectures are accredited by NACOR and COO for Canadian opticians and COPE for optometrists in North America. This allows you to save some money while completing your college/board requirements.
