Dr. Feisal Rahat is an ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon with over ten years of experience in the management of complex retinal diseases. He completed his ophthalmology residency and vitreoretinal fellowship at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, where he trained extensively in advanced surgical techniques, including vitrectomy and macular surgery. Dr. Rahat has a strong clinical focus on diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, macular holes, complications of cataract surgery and he has performed thousands of retinal procedures. Alongside his surgical practice, he has contributed to research on retinal imaging, innovative surgical methods and emerging technologies such as artificial vision devices, including the ArgusII® retinal prosthesis. He manages his patients with modern, up-to-date diagnostic and surgical instruments such as the Ngenuity® 3D Visualization System, ensuring precision and improved outcomes. Dr. Rahat has also helped establish ophthalmology paraclinics and surgical centres equipped with state-of-the-art imaging and surgical platforms.
