Pat Pirotte

OD, FAAO

Dr. Pat Pirotte graduated with honours from Southern California College of Optometry and has been practicing in Wichita, Kansas since 1985. He is a fully board- certified Fellow in the College of Optometrists in Vision Development and has been treating children with amblyopia, strabismus and learning-related vision problems for over twenty years. In addition to his private practice, he is on the national speakers board for the American Optometric� Association and educates Optometrists on the diagnosis and treatment of vision problems in children. He also serves as adjunct faculty at Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Oklahoma, the University of� Missouri-St.� Louis� School� of� Optometry� and the Illinois College of Optometry as an on-site super-vising doctor for optometric interns who wish to specialize in children's vision. Each summer Dr. Pirotte teaches classes at Friends University where he presents teacher re-certification workshops on the impact of vision to learning and classroom performance.
